Which former letsrun users do you miss?

What happened to the dolt in the room? I don't miss him, but I'm curious

BadThreadPointer. Was always quick to be the first one to point out a donkey sh!T thread when he saw one. I knew not to read through the rest of that slop and avoided wasting time because of his generosity

Portland Runner was one of the funniest posters back in the early days. He was also pretty conservative politically but would debate people respectfully and with a sense of humor.

Anyone remember Bill Eamick?

There was a guy named Allen was posting like crazy during Covid. Nary a word about running though. I think he succumbed to COVID.

He’ll be back as soon as the war with Iran is over. He actually posts from our “greatest ally”.

Think he's still around posting as prolifically as ever.

He posts under unregistered handles a lot now, cause I think a lot of his old handles got banned after he admitted to using a few at the same time.

Is he the guy that is always triggered and writes in a "yelling" style? You can almost picture that dude screaming at his computer and pounding away at the keypad. He is probably triggered when he rolls out of bed. He seems like he's mad at the world.

Agip. Someone said "he's still here," but I don't see it. He was amazingly consistent and dedicated and generated a lot of interesting discussion.

Edit: And Elzio Dennick aka Deno aka Bruel the Gruel is still here peripherally...he just comes around during football season. Still miss him, too. He's quite a character.

Same here. His posts were great. He claimed to have this database where he’d extrapolate performances to predict what people are truly capable of. Most of them seemed grounded, but occasionally you’d get something like “Bekele’s 12:37 —>> 1:37.5 800m”

1) sprintgeezer- super grumpy and combative at every opportunity, but extremely insightful on the sprinting aspect of the sport

2) subway surfers addiction- also an extremely surly individual, but really enjoyed some of his posts, especially the ones related to uap's

3) calculo- one of my favorite posters. crazy ideas regarding times, always instigated lively debate

4) lurker#3- great insight knowledge on the sport, turned out to be Steve Scott

He's still here, just posting under 3-4 different character names- fastgoiii, king of physics, etc.
