Grant is an over achiever in every aspect of life yet remains humble and good natured.
How can you be so angry about an incredibly talented runner having a video of him doing a workout?
I’m not jealous at all just speaking to the fact that there is SO much more to running in this life. How could I be jealous when I’m the one who has been with the absolute best. Think of the best piece of @ss you’ve ever had—I’ve had better and tons more. TONS. Do you know what kind of man you have to be to live that life? I can’t even begin to explain
What you write is self convincing writing inner thoughts about yourself.
Based on your posts… Improve yourself with little steps each day. Don’t play the comparison game that’s a very difficult game to win. Celebrate and emulate others that are living the way you aspire rather than being upset with them.
Running on the wrong side of the road. Multiple cars hindered in traffic. Then one guy in a truck yells something at them in their last rep. Clearly the locals were not impressed with this workout.
There are no more "locals" in Utah. That ship sailed during Covid. More often than not, people in the Park City/Heber area are yelling encouragement to runners, cyclists, or roller skiers. The area is quite used to sharing the roads with Olympic medalists.
I think he was running in Arizona somewhere and not Utah.
Quite sure he was running on that side of the road because the truck in front was the film crew.

Don’t be bothered by that poster. It’s the same guy that does the “fastgoiii” character. He’s just here playing a part to get your goat. I think you’re right about the AZ thing as well. Utah doesn’t seem like it’d be a place where he would be running with his shirt off at the moment.

I agree as thank you for your response. I have apologized and will continue to do so as I understand that I need to do so

I don’t know who that is and I do apologize for what it is I have written
Looked pretty smooth throughout, pretty crazy his HR only got up to low-160s despite averaging around 4:40 pace for 2 mile reps. Should be ready for a good one this weekend
According to the Daniels tables, if someone is a 3:50 miler 4:40 is their threshold pace. Shouldn't really surprise us. If someone's in really good fitness, no surprise the HR stays in the 160s, especially since his PR is a 3:48(?). Even though these videos are long, you can always just fast forward a boring part. Track All-Access has done a terrific job with their content.
I appreciate Grant and the others that bring these guys along for workouts. But a 30 minute video? Dear god guys, hire an editor.
10-15 years ago on this site, everyone complained about athletes not being transparent & sharing their training/workouts. I remember in like 2011 when Galen dropped that Flotrack euro workout Wednesday with AlSal... that tiny glimpse of insight into an elite pro runners training hit like crack because it was so rare. I watched on repeat.
Now where at the stage where people are complaining the vids are too long LOL
.....STFU AND BE GRATEFUL!!!!
There was a novelty to what flotrack posted back in the day. Now, everybody posts to youtube, whether they should or not. Track All-Access is simply boring. Knowing what the workout was is interesting. Hearing the context and rationale is even more interesting. Watching somebody running laps or running on a dirt road is not exciting. Adding an annoying soundtrack doesn't help. Perhaps a voice over, talking about the workout, what came before, how the build up is going, etc. But a lot of filler for this content creator.

“Watching somebody running laps… is not exciting” you do realize the sport you chose to be a fan of right?
Yeah when these vids come out I just scroll to see what the workout was
I’m incredibly glad I’m not a pro runner like Fisher. Some life. Run, fart into your couch, run, fart into your couch. That’s your entire life. That’s it. You run until one day you can’t. And then what? Some life.
Whereas me, I’ve done actual things. Real things. I’ve made art. I’ve made movies. I’ve made love. I’ve traveled everywhere and have had every kind of woman. I’ve lived a real life. I’ve actually made something of myself and can confidently call myself a man
The fact that you're posting this is a sure sign that you're unfulfilled, with little self worth. You list a lot of materialistic things of which ANYONE can do. The only thing missing is that you've NEVER actually challenged yourself or have pushed yourself to failure. That's where you learn about who you really are. I love the statement "I’m incredibly glad I’m not a pro runner like Fisher", do you know why? It's because you CAN'T be like Grant Fisher.
Hunter Biden also "made art", how'd that work out?

They have a couple of voiceover/PIPs where he talks about his buildup and what shoes he's picking. There's also discussion of the workout and rationale (lactate/HR goals etc). So I'm not sure what you're looking for as much because this video has all that, it's just a long workout.
Grant Fisher is such a great guy always extremely nice, polite, articulate. He will be a great Sport commentator once he is done with his terrific Pro career.

I'm sure he would be, but he probably has bigger aspirations.
