Under Biden there was a spike in homicides, a spike in inflation, multiple wars began, an out of control border situation, etc. Under Trump, homicides and border crossings are at record lows, inflation is back under control, wars are ending, etc. If those aren’t issues that affect Americans, then what are?
He's still going to speak the way he speaks and he will most likely ad-lib large portions of his address, but if you look back to his first SOTU on Feb 28, 2017, you have your answer. The assessment went something like this: he gave a speech, not a Tweet.
There are rumors that an Epstein accuser will be in the audience, so watch out for some counter-programming from Team Trump. My guess is that he will have one or more representatives from the "Angel families" (who lost members to violent crime related to the border) to hammer Biden's previous policy and burnish the policy he put into place.
