In Florida if you exceed a certain limit you can't just nond out but must see a judge.
People who do fast things for a living tend to carry this over to other areas of their life. I’m pretty sure the judge won’t see this as excusable however lol
Shame. No reason to be going that fast. People need to slow down in general, take a few extra minutes and arrive safely. How many accidents would be avoided if people didn't speed excessively? Plenty. On a related note, why is it that almost every time you see someone driving cray cray on the highway they are in a crappy car, usually with damage or even rust? Losers!
Go look up the "Reasonable And Prudent Interstate Driving Act" RAPID. Arizona's HB 2059 proposes to eliminate speed limits on some rural interstates. Today's 100 MPH is last decade's 80. Cars are smart, stable and statistics prove that slow drivers cause more accidents than speeders. Every state should do this. She gets a pass in my book on this one. A hefty ticket, sure, but jail? Give me a break. I'm going to send her the latest LIDAR detector which is a must have for driving in California.

I am White and have been ticketed no less than 3 times for driving at least 20mph slower than Sha'carri. Go back to the faculty lounge with this woke bull crap
There is nothing different about the road, what is different is the enforcement of strict lane discipline with mandatory left-lane passing ONLY. If police here actually educated the public and enforced the left lane is for passing only laws, driving at 80-100 would be zero problem. It's grandpa with the death grip on the steering wheel, left turn signal on and going exactly 65MPH in the fast lane that causes the multi-car pileups.

I've hit 100 a couple times in empty stretches of western Oklahoma or Nebraska in cross country road trips. I wonder if I technically could have been jailed for that.
