What a joke the ncaa is these days. No respect to the programs that refuse to recruit and develop US talent. So stupid to see so many “freshmen” ready made imports that have been training as pros for the last 4 years.
As flat as I recalled it. They say there is elevation change but it must be very gradual.
Elevation change is all in the back of the 3k loop, furthest from the spectator berms. You won't see it from the start/finish. It's all pretty gradual and doesn't seem to have a huge impact on times, but it's definitely where you see a lot of separation occur at the HS level in races...curious to see if that stays the same as better athletes take it on. There was a fair amount of movement in the womens 6k race today from 4k to 5k which is that section of the course. You hit the top of the longest hill with 1k to go.
Evans Kurui might be the most fearless runner I've seen in a while. Let's see if he can hold onto it. 22:20 solo 8K earlier this season definitely helped his case out

It’s a fine line between fearless and dumb. Kurui went out way too hard.
