Russell Wlson needs to call it a career, not sure what happened but he;s done.
Now the Giants need to stick with Dart no in and out BS, let him experience NFL football.
Wilson never sat the bench, went 11-5 as a rookie QB,made the playoffs, So why was Dart on the bench to begin with?
Another one of those weird deals where the backup makes more $ than the starter, Wilso was in that situation now on the other side of it.
There was a dearth of quarterbacks in the draft last year and the Giants wasted a first round pick on Dart. Based on Walter and NFL scouting reports, he isn’t projected to be much more than a good back up. He’ll play no better than Russel did.
The NFL scouting report site you're referencing has Dart with a prospect grade of 6.17 = "Good Backup With The Potential To Develope Into Starter."
Bleacher, another reputable site, rated him 7.5 (on their 10 scale) which translates to a "potential impact player."
Will he become the Savior or in a few weeks the fans are chanting,,,,,,,,WILSON WILSON WILSON.
That's a tough one. With Dart you get a good size mobile pocket passer with an NFL caliber arm (above average arm strength but not elite). Dart is a mobile pocket passer that can play off-schedule & effectively run the ball (he rushed for over 1500 yds in 3 full seasons at Ole Miss).
As I noted earlier, the QB coach for the Giants for the Giants is Shea Tierney, who is credited for developing Josh Allen when Tiernry held that position with the Bills.
I don't think Daboll would dare start Dart without the endorsement of Tierney. So, like with all rookie QB starters, we'll probably see some good things as wells as some bad stuff. 🤔

The Giants have a very tough schedulem but ,,,,,,,,they did it right way since their bye is in Dec, they are home vs the Chargers, noway they start this kid on the road.
The fans must realize he's going to have those rookie problems so be patient.
I don't expect much this season, but having watched his highlight video the kid can throw a football. The potential is there.
