Bob Dylan covering his song Hard Rain. If you listen very carefully you can almost make out the original.

Brain freeze here, who owns the original?

I assumed he did.

Point being that Dylan nevers plays anything the same twice. I had more than one friend who went to one of his concerts and came away pissed.

They said they were really excited to go hear their beloved tunes, but once there, they would get half way through a song and realize that what he was playing was some tortured version of their favorite tunes, and felt cheated.

Ok I get it now, ya threw me a curve there.

I know a few guys who were disappointed with his live show. I can see that.

Hillbillie Clarence Ashley had a lot of stuff with House of the Rising Sun and this one being his two that stood out.

Phil Philips only recorded one record, I think. His Sea of Love probably the greatest of those one hit wonders.

Tom Waits is not know for someone who does others stuff, thinking this is his only cover.
