Brosnan was a guest on the podcast on Tuesday. He told us he that her personally recorded the audio version of the book. This week only, if you join our Supporters Club, we'll send you a copy of the book and a free t-shirt as Rojo's college roommate Chris Lear is a co-author.
I’m not saying Sean Brosnan started this thread, nor do I publicly claim to believe Sean Brosnan started this thread, but if hypothetically he did start this thread (or posted anonymously in this thread), that would make me want to buy the book even less.
You’ll never get a gold medal in life by hating online, because negativity doesn’t build anything good. True success comes from the opposite of being negative and not wasting energy on jealousy or trolling. The more time you spend spreading hate, the less time you spend reaching your own goals. I ordered the book because the coach and the Neberry Park team were legendary. The book is already an Amazon best seller, do yourself a solid and buy the book and learn something. Otherwise grow up and move on with your life
I’ve got a 22 hour drive to do this coming Friday, and am going to purchase Brosnan’s new book on audio (releases tomorrow). Obviously a very controversial and polarizing figure here amongst the shining stars that are Letsrun, but undeniably nurtured along some outstanding athletes from two different families. Newbury was a juggernaut here in CA for a few years, and I’m looking forward to perhaps getting a little inside baseball.
Anyone else curious as well?
long drives are usually the perfect time to listen to an audiobook or two. But this time, I think I’m going to skip the audio and just buy the actual book. Would be cool to have Lear and Brosnan sign the book.
What possible failure of planning led to this being necessary?
Unfortunately, my nephew was recently killed in a climbing accident here in CA; and his funeral is Saturday in Missouri. My wife and I are driving his car back from CA for my brother.

I like to read the book , then listen to the book. You absorb more that way

Bro I promise you, reading Sean’s book will not get you a gold medal, or “true success” or whatever you’re yapping ab. You sound way more offended ab this discussion than I am about Sean’s “hypothetical” activity on the boards. Honestly hope you can find some peace outside of worshipping some guy you don’t even know

I’m old school and like turning pages, but I get why it’s easy to listen on commute or driving.

Just finished reading 8 chapters in (I got mine yesterday for some reason), and honestly, it’s way better than I expected. Leave it to Brosnan to figure out how to get a solid book written and published. Definitely impressed so far.

I’m curious and definitely looking forward to its arrival on the 4th

was at Barnes & Noble a few days ago and saw Beyond Fast already on the shelf, maybe by mistake since today’s the official release date. I’m planning to dive into it this weekend and see what it’s all about.
