Unlike some -or many, or most- of you, I know close to nothing about running. About running for real. I've just been running recreationally as my 3rd sports activity for a bit more than a decade so far. And love track and road racing as a fan.
My 1st is K-1 or Muay. Just as a hobby aswell, never competed. For more than half my life, as for now.
I think no athlete does more push-ups than someone who trains boxing. It's their bread and butter. And they train harder than hard.
Doing a set of 10 proper push-ups is hard. Period.
A PROFESSIONAL boxer in his prime @ the weight classes below 154 could maybe do... like 80 in a row to failure. At best. And I'm probably being generous.
Wrestlers and grapplers do tons of pull-ups. World elite can't approach 40 in a set.
Hell, no more than a bunch of world elite gymnasts (rings / bars) could break 40 in a set.
Either your numbers or your form are wrong.
I know for sure that I couldn't even think of giving this challenge a try.
