Bold predictions:
1. One of the top six 1500m runners--Hocker, Nuguse, Kessler, Koech, Strand, Green--won't make the finals.
2. Hobbs Kessler will not make the team.
3. One of the Big Three 5000m runners (Fisher, Young, Blanks) will not be on the 5000m team.
Tuohy won't be top 3 NC State.
"Who is will be the biggest Casualty at USAs"??
I seriously hope I am wrong, given his early season form - but I have concerns about the recent absence and race fitness of Kenny B......

Man I made one mistake, is that all you can contribute to the thread?
I am also thinking it could be Hocker. I hope not, because the World Championships will be more interesting with him there. There are really fast guys in both the 1500 and the 5000 that are focusing on one event and could pull an upset. Ethan Strand, Parker Wolfe, Drew Hunter are just a few that are right outside of the favorites. Plus he will have Nuguse and Kessler in the 1500 and Fisher, Young, and Blanks in the 5000. Even after the 10K I am not sure he can beat them. If the 10K is fast maybe. He did not nail this double last year. With so many talented fast men focusing on one event this year Hocker might be spreading himself too thin. I hope not, but I am not sure he can pull off the double with these fields.

Kenneth Rooks
Elise Cranny
Hobbs Kessler
I can definitely see scenarios where Cranny and Kessler miss out, but honestly I think it would take something drastic (like an ill-timed fall) for Rooks to not finish top-3 in the steeple.
