She’s old. She had her time in the sun. It doesn’t last forever.
There’s definitely a strong, new crop of 800m stars - and Wilson has had injuries the last few years - but she’s not ‘old’ yet. She’s right in between Elle St Pierre and Shelby Houlihan.
Shes just been winning titles since like 2013 or 2014. She would’ve been a gold medalist in 2017 had XY-intersex athletes been excluded.
This. Ajee was a phenom straight out of high school whereas Houlihan and Purrier, although great NCAA athletes, didn’t really ascend to elite pro status until a couple years after leaving college.
someone may know more but i feel like a year or two ago people were speculating or it was assumed ajee was dealing with a personal matter or mental health issues? i feel like there were threads about it when she wasn't running that well recently or someone had like a bit more detail but it wasn't confirmed what the actual problem was. i think maybe ajee gave a general interview saying she was dealing with something.
anyways, i wonder if that impacted the adidas contract, but probably not in any way further than the fact the personal issue itself may have caused her to not run so great and obviously a brand is going to want an athlete to perform generally.
this thread was probably made by OP because bandit just released a video on ajee being part of their 'unsponsored project'. im sure not many people know she was dropped from adidas even if it was official as of earlier this year.
and to the guy asking about who maggie vessey married - look at her ig. he looks like a chubby slob but probably is loaded LOL!
Ajee probably doesn’t have that much time left in her career. Maybe sticks it out to LA ‘28? I’m not sure being unsponsored is an issue, although I’m sure she’d prefer a contract.

I know the m800 WR was in adistar 3s, that's about it
People questioned this when she was not wearing adidas a few weeks ago at the Ed Murphey Classic. She has officially been dropped. Talks a little bit about it @ 4:20. Hiltz was right ... with adidas you either make teams and do big things or there are contract cuts and drops.
The Shoe Companies do not REALLY care about the Athletes (Though most Athletes Think they do) The Shoe Companies do not hire out of goodness of their hearts (As most Athletes think they are) They are Using Athletes for Advertising And if the Athlete is not bringing in Money ABOVE The Companies Return of Investment They are Cut off, Also The Companies Have the Track and Field Athletes sign Non Disclosure Agreements and MOST Athletes think they are doing that To Keep the Contract Details unkown as they care about The Athletes right To Privacy, It is so The Athletes Worth is not known To give the Companies Bargaining Power and signing The Athletes for less than Athletes are Worth.

Athletes are better off having a Longtime Mega Millionaire or Billionaire Friend or Relative who honestly care about them Sponsor Them
She’s as gulity as Burrito gsl Shelby. “Tainted meat”. Sure. She should have been suspended and axed back then and you know it.
True. Everyone who’s honest knows it. But certain people are allowed to get away with things. If you point this out, they’ll call you names, just to show they’re woke and with it.

Adidas is a business that makes decisions in the best interest of their company and investors. Ajee has been in and out of the limelight for a last few years. Not worth investing in.
She also isn’t much of an “influencer” which is what you need to be if you’re not going to show up or win medals.
Minimal social media presence and doesn't seem like an especially engaging person. The shoe companies/sponsors really consider those tenets now, unfortunately. She had a phenomenal run of many years, however.
