Jakob definitely looks way skinnier and eats way cleaner after he won the Olympics. Some pics looks like he lost 15 lbs. He’s definitely more dominant I just hope he’s clean

He needs to be lean for the 5K. Look at Kejelcha and the Ethiopians - they can’t weigh more than 140lbs

It's not always a good thing, but I think he knows what he's doing.
Maybe he’d been holding that lever back, and has decided to pull it now to "counterbalance" his injury

I’d imagine it’s super risky to cut weight at 100 mpw of intense training regardless of the dietitians and supplementation you have at your disposal. His injury was probably a good opportunity for him to lean down a bit extra.

Do you really need someone to explain to you why it's cringe for a European white guy to use a rap song that has the N word in its chorus?

The homie Kerr hooked him up with some thyroid meds for sure.

Ironically, I think a thicker Kerr was better than thin Kerr. There's cutting weight and then there's fighting physiology and morphology. We'll see if this pays off or if it ends in flames.

I think he usually carries more weight during the winter and slims down in the summer. Last year he looked pretty trim in his first race back (like he does now), so maybe all the time on the elliptical cuts a bit of extra weight. There’s also a noticeable change in his physique starting in 2023. From that point on he looks considerably leaner and stronger than in previous years, at least to me.

Regarding his schedule, he was originally committed to Silesia and Brussels, so I imagine he’ll race those plus Zurich since he always shows up for the DL Final.
