Yep, certain types of HPV are considered high risk for causing cancer of the oropharynx and genitourinary tract. That is true. Fortunately, there is a SAFE AND EFFECTIVE HPV vaccine that is now widely available. All kids should get this vaccine starting at age 11-12. Adults can also get this vaccine up to the age of 40. Unfortunately, retards will deny their own children this lifesaving miracle vaccine because they are very stupid, lack basic scientific knowledge and do not understand relative risk.
Why is the HPV vaccine only given to those up to the age of 40?
I'm 62. I was only diagnosed 1 year ago.
Because if you've had sex, you're more than likely already carrying the HPV virus.

How did HPV and vaccines come up in this thread? Did Mageean say somewhere that she has cervical cancer? If so I missed that. In any event, yes, there is a safe and effective vaccine for it that is most effective when given to children before they come in contact with HPV, i.e. before they start having sex. In the US, it is now one of the standard recommended vaccines for both girls and boys, because it greatly lowers the risk of all HPV-related cancers in males and females, including cervical, penile, and oral cancers. The vaccine is so effective at preventing cancer that at one point, former Republican Texas governor Rick Perry called for all 11-12 year old Texas girls to be vaccinated. That is until the religious fundamentalists, who couldn't imagine their daughters having premarital sex, freaked out about it and forced him to backtrack. That was unfortunate because it would have saved lives.
Something really baffling researchers is the rise in colorectal cancer in very healthy young individuals. Healthy outwardly as in fitness buffs, clean diet, etc. There's so many things in the environment that the younger people had to deal with in childhood. Worse food, additives, emulsifiers, etc. I'd say anyone born after 1996 probably had a childhood diet filled with things we now know to be harmful.

Your post hasn't been deleted. I guess it's OK to speculate about food additives, emulsifiers, etc., but not vaccines.

You'd say would you, OK then, what kind of things and links with verified evidence?
Also, good luck to Ciara, some cancers can hit anyone, even the healthiest young.
Does HPV cause regular colon cancer though? I'm not sure there is a link there, at least not enough of one to explain the rise in colon cancer among younger people.
Anal cancer on the other hand is often caused by HPV. See e.g. Marcia Cross (from Melrose Place)'s story.

My understanding is that the anal cancer link is very clear and caused mostly by HPV, whereas colorectal cancer has many causes but HPV is increasingly believed to be one of them. (But not the cause of all of them, as in cervical.)

Once a person has been exposed (i.e. has been sexually active) the vaccine is much less effective. HPV-related cancers are also more prevalent in those with multiple sex partners before the age of 30.
There are many cancers affecting young women: Breast cancer, ovarian, thyroid, skin, etc.
If caught early, as appears to be the case, she will be fast tracked and receive optimal treatment. The Irish medical system, free (paid through taxes) functions very well, especially with serious maladies. She'll be in excellent hands.
As a prostate C. patient myself, I have exposure to this.
There’s something called excess—meaning more than what normally occurs. In 2021, there was a 20x spike in certain medical events compared to baseline levels. Your emotional reaction tells me you’re not interested in facts—just in justifying your decision to get injected. Instead of blindly following the algorithm, maybe look at the data.
Let’s cut through the propaganda: Less than 1% of vaccine injuries get reported. That’s not a guess—it’s a fact. From 2006-2009, real-world data tracked 1.4 MILLION doses—and found 35,570 adverse reactions (2.6% of shots). That’s 1.3 injuries per doctor every month. But sure, keep pretending this is “rare.” VAERS openly admits 99% of harms go unreported, yet you call concerned parents “retards”? You ignorant, bootlicking clown. HPV naturally clears in 90% of people, but you want to inject kids with this corporate snake oil anyway? You’re not pro-science—you’re pro-profits. So go ahead, you brainwashed NPC. Keep regurgitating Pharma’s lies. The data demolishes your argument. Stay mad. Stay wrong. VAERS doesn’t lie—you just refuse to read it. https://digital.ahrq.gov/sites/default/files/docs/publication/r18hs017045-lazarus-final-report-2011.pdf
