Of course that's possible. In a large enough group there will almost surely have the same or more talent, whatever that means, as Olson has, and if they focus on a 100 mile trail race would beat him now and again. Conversely, it's entirely possible that if Olson focused on running the 10,000 the same way he focuses on trail ultras he might well be faster than 29:11.
