I am not finding him in my results (anyone elsethink that listing results by event is annoying?).
Surprised by the 400m results with Bol just under 50; maybe she's not been running then this year and nit working on flat speed yet. Irby-Jackson edges her out and looks promising for the 400 if she is early in her competive season.
The Big 3 in the 1500m are probably focusing on training still. What will we see at Pre?
Bol's first open 400m in 12 months, so 49.98 is not a bad opener at all. Compare that to Naser, Irby & Bukowiecka who are well raced over the distance already.
I expect a faster time at the European Team Champs in two days. She'll face Bukowiecka again there, who also doesn't look in her best form yet.

Another consideration is officials & volunteers. Eugene provides all of the willing & qualified officials for basically free, except for certain head officials, the referees & video review.
There is also a large number of trained local volunteers that provide support to the meet in a myriad of ways.
These officials & volunteers save the NCAA a tremendous amount of money & contribute to the overall smooth functioning of an event of this size.
I’m sure other communities can provide a skilled volunteer/officials workforce, just stating is an important event management consideration.
Thanks, there were so many short sprints for the locals so I must have scrolled past it since many in the escrow were national class locals.
20.02/0.0 is very good and apparently a n Area Record. The comments about Bol help adjust my expectations, especially with her upcoming races (don't go too hard, this is a perp race).
What’s going on with Adam Fogg? He hasn’t been in great form since that 3:49 indoors with Ethan Strand.
I mean 3:49 is worth like 3:32-3, and he ran 3:35 today. Only a couple seconds off and Worlds isn’t particularly close. Still, it’s looking like you’re gonna have to be a 3:29 guy to make the final at this rate. I mean, I wouldn’t be shocked to see a 3:29 heat at this point.

It was a 3:49.85 at BU too. In a crowded field with more jostling and all that it’s not that different running a 3:35.2 if things don’t go well from a positioning standpoint.
Why do you think Bol can run faster? I'm surprised she ran a sub 50.
Her PB is 49.2 indoors. Yes fair to note it’s her first open 400m outdoors.
Meanwhile, Lynna Irby Jackson is quietly becoming a force again with 2 sub-50s ... showing the form she had during that great NCAA season or two at ... was it UGA, right?
She has the distinction of being a 400 World U18 and World U20 medalist as a prep. She always peaked well in the summer.
