In my heart if Crull had the opening he would have won

Strand worst tactical race I’ve ever seen.
Birnbaum looked amazing, just got absolutely boxed in after Adam Spencer slipped hard in front of him with 400m to go. Even during that last 100m, he looked simply trapped as Spencer held the inside.
No. Room. For. Error.
That was a close one all around.

silly race and good work for green
but man strand has a good kick
Easy to have a kick with a 3:47 1500m.
Miler U(W) does it again! Impressive.
Tactical master ass for Strand. Best engine in the field but outmaneuvered by Green. Would’ve liked to see Gary run a bit bolder strategy. Cant really quibble with anyone else’s tactics.
Strand must have run an extra 10m in the last 400m at least, you think a guy with his skills would just get to the front before the bell
That Furman steepler looks like a young Gavin Newsom.
ohhhh, that spill was just horrible!
reminded me of heat 1 in the prelims. super slow which means everyone is bunched up. like salman and Murphy, Strand closed like a beast but ran out of real estate.
That was a nasty fall

Nifty roll-recovery. I think he's feeling it, though.
Kirwa looks super-relaxed, in control.
Corrigan ran a masterclass race. So composed
USA USA USA
LETS GO CORRIGAN
USA BABY
how many places score points?
JAMES MF CORRIGAN!!
East African steeplers hate to see a BYU guy pull up to the start line
The steeple is unironically extremely boring to watch

wish world athletics went with the steeple mile as a replacement like they were originally going to
I know Weldon hates it when I'm negative and don't offer anything upbeat. But I can't help. Normally I'm at the meet on tv. But man is this announcing horrible.
Where was the excitement when the Louisville guy gapped the field in the steeple? But in the end Corrigan was confident. And smart. And the champion.
