Wanyonyi to the meet on his win, bodes well for the future races (which don't include Paris apparently):
"Today, my body felt a little tired as I have come from Kenya so the travel has been long but I am happy with my performance against a strong field and pleased to run a season's best. I really appreciated being here so thank you to the people of Oslo for inviting me and for giving us athletes a nice reception. I am happy with the start to my season in this World Championship year and now, I will go to Stockholm and Monaco, where I hope to get sharp and run fast."

Random thing I just caught: Tim wearing a nose breathing strip for the first time ever. And Nordas seemingly not wearing one for the first time I've seen him not.

Is ciattei pacing?
No. 2 pacers, Ciattei, gap. Well, less of a gap now. But Ciattei's not usually the guy to overestimate himself. This looks good.

Tim is going to PB big time, he hasn't run a fast mile ever!
Edit: Nevermind

Flotrack owns the rights in the US, so if you're here you'll have to buy a FloTrack subscription.
Alternately, you can use a VPN set to a country like Australia, and then watch for free on the Wanda Diamond League Youtube channel.
Ridiculous these meets are only on FloTrack. Leaving Peacock was yet another T&F death punch. I used to watch all these meets, I'm not paying for yet another subscription for a crap product
Real interesting race. Nader really smartly timed kick. Giles made a good move that had no chance of working but it did cause a large amount of carnage. Probably shuffled Tim back behind Nillesen as he now had to go wide and had some disruption to his rhythm. Myers' patience paid off as it opened up nicely. Nordas appears to be completely washed, we'll see if he goes better in Stockholm. I didn't quite get Olli completely falling back mid-race off a reasonable pace.
