The courage of those girls is incredible. It may seem like a small thing, but for those teenagers subject to the scrutiny of so many hostile school officials and other "woke" adults, making that small protest took a huge amount of bravery. I live in greater Seattle, have three athlete daughters, and have been watching boys win championships for the last few years in the girls division. And yet, I'm afraid to speak out. Openly holding any opinion in places like this that might be construed as Republican is grounds for ostracization. It's so much easier to stay silent, and that's what the vast majority of people do. On the flip side, those who advocate for the transgender athletes are celebrated.
Anyway, I really respect those two girls for taking a stand. It wasn't easy. It's easy to say things anonymously on a message board, but what they did is incredible.
