Because it’s 2025 and only two options or two sides can exist and nothing in between. So in this case it’s either covering your whole body and hiding from all rays of sun or it’s fry your body like chicken from Popeyes
Sun damage and cancer are both promoted by high carbohydrates, seed oils and plant toxins in the modern diet. When I was plant based I burned easily, accumulated moles and sun damage, despite religious application of sunscreen. Now, as a carnivore pushing 70, I never wear sunscreen, seek full sun exposure, never burn and my previous sun damage is healing. Most people mistake me for 50 at most despite my outdoor lifestyle.
Sun exposure is so critical to human health that our European (and Asian high latitude) ancestors LOST SHIELDING MELANIN over the course of late paleocene evolution, while of course eating 90% animals and fish for critical cholesterol and essential fatty acids missing in our modern plant based diets.
It’s 2025 and this person is considered dangerous because they aren’t exploited and easy to profit off of.
Congratulations are maintaining your sense of self.
I live in a leftie / yuppie city and I can tell you that people are absolutely paranoid of the sun. If it's a nice day out, most people will be wearing long sleeves, gloves and a straw hat.

In southern Sweden, there was a 2X increased risk of death among those who avoided sun exposure compared with the highest sun exposure group [3].
Nonsmokers who avoided sun exposure had a life expectancy similar to smokers in the highest sun exposure group, indicating that avoidance of sun exposure is a risk factor as significant as smoking. Compared to the highest sun exposure group, life expectancy of avoiders of sun exposure was reduced by 0.6-2.1 years [4].
If you get tons of sunrise/sunset light, you’ll be fine. Midday sun is tricky for some people but if you get morning sun you could probably be outside with no sunscreen max 15 minutes.

In what conceivable way are they considered dangerous to anyone but themselves? They are hardly coming across as a credible authority on skin cancer. That they are credulous enough to buy into the meat and seed oil fad suggests they might be quite easy to profit off.

This has been my experience as well. Since cutting out seed oils and eating low carb, I don't burn anymore.
reducing sun exposure to shorter periods of plenty of sun (a PNW summer) is actually harmful, because your skin is more vulnerable after its off-time in the winter.
Bald men get terrible lesions and cancers on their bald head, if they went bald in mid life. Scalp completely unprepared for that.

How so if they are avoiding seed oils and eating meat? Like it’s rare to eat meat or something. And not buying foods with excessive seed oils on the ingredients. Can’t profit off someone not buying the product dummy.
