Windy night, Sam Ruth did 3:40. The wind is probably worth 2 seconds

he's 18 bruv, and his PB is 3:56. tbf i don't know why they didn't get someone faster
Conditions suck. Move this meet somewhere else
Gout is measuring his blocks with a tape measure, didn't know sprinters did that
Melbourne has an almost supernatural ability to have the worst weather possible at any given time
could you not just remember how many rungs deep for each one lol
Damn Kennedy proving 60m speed can translate to 200
Kennedy takes Gout Gout. 20.26 vs 20.30 (+0.4)
What a run Kennedy! Wasn't even a bad run from Gout.
#5 all time Aussie
Conditions weren't great tonight so could we see two Aussies under 20 in fast conditions?

Congrats channel seven, on to the footy coverage before the Stawell gift runner could interview gout x2
seth o'donnell was really fkn impressive actually that was a huge pb
i would love to know how he trains but he said doesn't have a strava or garmin connect. Also didn't do any athletics when he was younger but played footy. I wonder is that extreme talent or is footy a really good base for running
Thinking back on Hollingsworth's race I would've preferred to see sit behind the pacer rather than get tied up in the pack.
Sam Ruthe continues to impress with 3:40 1500 at 15 years of age.

nah it's not. Bit less running in it than soccer. Seth was not particularly good at footy so wouldn't've been doing a lot of elite conditioning I don't think anyway. The fittest footy player can run about 6.20 for 2k.
Really? Most of the footy guys I went to school with were fitter than me. Besides I Harry Sharp ran under 5:30 for the 2k tho I think he's a strong outlier

GG finished fast(er) but Kennedy’s curve was way sharper, on the limit!
