Also note: Geordie has switched from the Steeple to the 5000, essentially taking Morgan's place on the starting line next to OAC teammates Ky & Dillon. Might be the pacer to help them reach their 13:01 Tokyo Q.
Obviously injuries happen, but avoidable injuries are a shame. I would never join OAC if I was an athlete based on what has been going on. At what point do they decide ritz is not a good coach? They also have major issues with mental stuff like confidence. I think one by one they’ll start jumping ship.
Plenty had and have and are still going to get avoidable injuries thanks to Ritz. As a poster mentioned seems only Morgan at least has the courage to say he’s injured and doesn’t shut down strava like the couple of OAC women in past pretending all is fine. Same people who have confidence issues. Some of OAC may jump ship but many have nowhere else to go. Time is almost up in their struggle to achieve any national podiums let alone international.
