The OP is definitely making a satire post. However, it is good for discussion. My question is when are they actually going to go after free speech. Besides Homan's blowhardedness, Musk saying long prison sentences for CBS's 60 Minutes, which he found offensive. Shutting down AP for calling the body of water between Florida and Mexico, the Gulf of Mexico (which it has been called since at least the 1600s). I think it's laughable that the trumpers can't take it. Suing news organizations right and left for marginal or non-issues.

When are they going to put legal clamps on less than flattering news coverage? And what about speaking out against these morons on the street corner or here on a message board, or their own blog? That's not my point at all. You people seem to be going out of your way to misunderstand me. To clear up any confusion, I am making the following points:

1. The Trump Administration is openly attempting to intimidate dissenters and is clearly stating its desire to put its political opposition in jail for saying things they don't like, and

2. I fully agree with this position based on my originalist interpretation of the Constitution and love of free speech.

Of course fascism is bad, but you can't just let people talk about their rights. Where does it end??

Exactly. Who can say whether free speech is legal or illegal? Expert opinions vary. This is a highly complex subject that is far beyond the comprehension of average voters. Very arrogant and dangerous for anyone to have a strong opinion on the matter.

However, I have to disagree with you on one important point. The legality of speech is not up to the Courts at all. As Donald Trump has plainly stated, the courts cannot dictate the law to He Who Saves His Country. It is up to Donald Trump himself, in his infinite wisdom, to decide the legality of AOC's words. Although I am a free speech absolutist, I hope he will put her in Guantanamo Bay, as her passion and physical attractiveness is confusing and damaging to the psyches of millions of True Patriots.
