Don't think so. Kenny has almost always finished in London, he would only come if knows he is in shape. Calling Kenny to finish at least under 2:05, perhaps better than 2:04. Anyone want to call the winning time?
V.O2 max declines by 10% per decade starting at age 25-30. No chance these truly old men, Bekele and Kipchoge, can run with the leaders for very long. I’m not sure Eliud is willing to accept this biological fact quite yet, so like in Paris, he may start with the lead pack and blow up. I think now Bekele gets it, and will start slower. In the end, Bekele beats EK and runs something between 2:07-2:08. Ek either dnfs, or “limps” home in 2:10-2:12.

Wow what a race it’s been! Here comes Kipchoge down the home stretch, but Bekele has pulled up on him. Now it’s Bekele pulling even. Oh what a treat to watch these two legends battle one last time! Oh and it’s going to be Bekele by a stride!
There you have it! Bekele 7th and Kipchoge 8th. Both men credited with 2:09:25 unofficially. Greeting them is American Hillary Bor, who minutes ago broke his training partner Lenny Korir’s American debut record with a 2:06 and was also one of Kipchoge’s sub2 pacers.
