People may not realize that any athlete making the starting list at a Big NCAA Div I school is extremely talented. And don’t give me any of that “talent never goes away” dribble, because there is no guarantee that winderkind talent, at any age, is a perpetual gift.
So your point is taken. But there are other very very talented young athletes, male and female, even currently on the Stanford roster, that may or may not continue on to be big-time pros.
