Without coaching, I found it took me about 10 seconds of pain to go from my goal of 4:20 to actually running 4:30 by inexplicably feeling awful on lap 4???
Funny, 24 hours later I came down with 3 days of nasty flu.
Mom jokes often dull, but 'speaking in tongues' had me howling. My wife even laughed, and she's a multi- lingual mom.
