I hear that they’ll have exotic food trucks down there too!!!
I think you mean "authentic." Exotic isn't quite racist enough for her and her lawyers, "authentic" Mexican food truck is much better at painting the picture of questionable meat, poor food handling practices and scary brown people from across the border.
How does "authentic" even begin to paint that picture, and to whom?
"Authentic" means to me that it was not from American chains, like Taco Bell, or Del Taco, or El Torito.
The meat in question can just as equally be USDA approved meat, handled properly, by nice people from this side of the border.
Oh boy oh boy. All the Shelby trolls will be in heaven, alternatingely telling us that she was framed by Wada / sabotaged by a female competitor from her team / unlucky with her beef burrito that magically included artificial boar nuts. Then the rekbot will take over all threads again, pretending there was no evidence and all experts were corrupt and incompetent.
Note that "rekbot" posts are parodies meant to mock me.
There was evidence in this case of presence, but not of intent. The evidence remains ambiguous so long as the source is not identified. The expert testimony was competent, but not exhaustive, and the conclusory opinions were premature, and fundamentally based on presumptions and unproven assumptions.

Hooray for the sport!
It's Understanding that makes it possible for people like us to tolerate a person like yourself.
What event do you think she’ll focus on for the outdoor season?
My guess is the 5000m. St. Pierre is out for the year with her pregnancy and nobody seems to know exactly what the situation with Monson is regarding her rehabilitation from her injury. There are more threats at 1500m than 5000m.
1500m - Hiltz, Mackay, Johnson, Wiley, Cranny, MacLean, McGee (if she can reproduce her Trials race), and maybe Jones (with her new coaching situation) or Schlauchtenhaufen (no idea how to spell it)
5000m - Kelati (will probably focus on the 10000m), Schweizer, Cranny (could focus on 1500m), Valby, Andrews, Morgan

Replace Kelati with Tuohy in the above 5000 list.
US 5000 team for Tokyo looking more and more like Houlihan, Cranny and Schweizer. A best-buddies trio. That would be sweet.
If USAs' schedule is the same as years past, there will be semis and finals of the 1500 on days 1 and 3 then a single 5000 final on day 4. Pretty much expect Houlihan and Cranny to double. Schweizer probably doing the 10000/5000 double on days 1 and 4.
Re: Shelby winning over fans. Of course she can. She'll start real quick by winning. In sports, winning pretty much solves everything. If Shelby can keep winning while running faster than her pre-2021 ban times through LA '28 -- while not missing or failing any drug tests -- and possibly winning an Olympic medal, everyone will be in love with her. Shelby would also have convinced most skeptics save the dull-witted she's been clean since her ban and likely has been clean throughout her career.

At this point the only current threats in the 5K are Schweizer and Cranny. Add Valby to the list in about a year or so
Doping musings aside and regardless of how well Houlihan has taken care of herself throughout the past four yrs, it doesn't make sense to me that she would start the year showing sub-8:30 fitness rather than gradually building up that level with an eye on Tokyo 25. Even in 2019 when she dropped a 3:54.99 at World Champs in Oct, Houlihan opened with a 4:29 mile and 9:31 2-mi (8:50 3k equiv) in Feb. No need to overcook herself when the first order of business is simply to secure auto entry into USA Indoor Champs and further roll into an elite training regimen uninjured and fresh.
Appreciate a Shelby post most notably devoid of idle musings of cuisine & chemistry. So, thank you, Taylor Mason Capital. Not a dull mind are you.
Agree with speculations regarding opening season efforts, highlighted above.
However, Shelby's target is beyond achieving USA's Q. As she has already confirmed her desire to race Nanjing, she needs the WIC Q. For the 3000, that is 8:33.00.
Thus, Shelby pretty much has to come out of the gate guns blazing.
Recent workouts of 30x300 in 51s down to 47s, then 10x400 in 64s, indicate fitness is there.
Very much looking forward to finding out who will be pacing as well as who will be Shelby's competitors. Does she manage to convince Cranny or Schweizer to come out to Fayetteville for a rust buster before their Millrose races? Since the Razorback Invitational is overwhelmingly a college meet with a smattering of pros, will any elite post-collegian decide to enter?
MR is 8:51.60 by Taylor Roe/OSU last year. Tyson facility record is 8:43.79 by then-pro Christin Wurth-Thomas @ 2011 Tyson Invitational.
