for all the pretense of the man being some sort of authenticity island, he had a pretty clear pattern of servicing conservative interest groups and pretzeling himself to do so. example, in 1999 on meet the press he said he was pro-choice. by his presidency he nominated the judges who ended roe. if you remember, it was described as a sort of deal with a republican party establishment that to that point had been fairly unwelcoming.
how gullible are we gonna be that a political candidate sensing a close election might sandbag the public what his real intentions would be if he got some sort of mandate. so now he has the mandate, can't be reelected, and may be asking, ok, where is that book again?
trump had hundreds of contributors to project 2025 in his last administration. he's already picked homan his border czar.
last, surely you can appreciate the amorphousness of claiming not to know the authors when you do know many of them, and saying you know "nothing" of the book then just coincidentally starting to do -- or have the authors back in government do -- at least some of the laundry list in there. in theory an unscrupulous but logically precise president could say, that book is not my plan, if he was planning on doing 249 of 250 items.
actions over words, watch what the man does. i think we're gonna find that trump, mr. authenticity, starts working his way down wish lists of elon, this group, and his other big donors and think tank friends. meanwhile he will vent obnoxious stuff and that unPC (or is the term now unwoke) display will have his voters convinced he's uniquely individualistic.
