She probably still would have lost, but she would have kept her conscience clear. Truth is she has some pretty left wing ideals that she tried to cover over and toe the company line. She mortgaged her soul and still lost.
Shows how shallow her campaign was and why she lost. If she had just ran on what she could do instead of what Biden did and not being trump. She probably would have won.
Did you want her to call him Hitler?
I don't get you guys. You got your win and you're still here complaining.
Most shocking to me is realizing we have been "mad" or running toward it for decades, a kind of sub-surface growing population of Morlocks, who finally found their Champion, and came forth to claim the land. A grotesque figurehead that, with all his flaws and strangeness, was all they had but had the zeitgeist and raw power to install him on his golden throne. (No reference to bathroom fixtures.)
In light of your comment above, you might identify with this observation from HL Menken early last century. It has come to pass, like a prophesy from Nostradamus.
"As democracy is perfected, the office of president represents, more and more closely, the inner soul of the people. On some great and glorious day the plain folks of the land will reach their heart’s desire at last and the White House will be adorned by a downright moron."
He didn't actually expect a criminal.
Menken ridiculed democracy because he didn't like it. He preferred a competent authoritarian over a popularly elected leader, and was, in point of fact, a Nazi sympathizer! Ironic that you would quote him in attacking Trump and Co. It's like when people quote Yeats Second Coming not realizing that the "rough beast, sloughing toward Bethlehem" was, for him, socialism, not fascism, he himself being a fascist!

Because we all know the Trump years such a dictatorship based on the Nazi Party

Menken's observations stand as a valid critique of American politics. Your version of democracy is a farce. You have elected a moron. Who also happens to be a convicted criminal. And you are so stupid as to think anything he says is true - the biggest liar on the planet.

Are you dense? She's putting on a brave face for her supporters who think the world is coming to an end.
If the world comes to and end, it's Obama, Biden and The Clinton Crime Family that made it happen.
Yep, and that is EXACTLY what we are going to hear when.... instead of having "the greatest economy in the history of the world"... and "the most incredible four years in the history of our country"... things go the wrong way during Trump's term.
I remember when I was in college, all the liberals were talking about how Chaney needed to be tried as war criminals for what they did to Iraq. Now they embrace the Chaney family with open arms.
The left just calls people nazis, fascists, racists, etc… because it’s fun for them.
K. Harris ran a very good short campaign. People will argue whether inviting Cheney to join the fight was wise or not. It was never to embrace her political viewpoints. It's purpose was to show the Threat of Trump was so uniquely real that many respected staff and Republicans were sounding the alarm.
But here is where the lesson was learned. It was believed that if you could show Americans what a threat Trump was it would cause them to vote against him. But the reality is that Americans are OK with Authoritarianism or fascism. (whatever you want to call it) as long as their guy Trump is the guy to do it. They don't and won't have a problem with any fascist things Trump will do in the future. They like it!
Sadly you believe the nonsense about Trump's fascism and authoritaranism. Who has the record of silencing dissent and locking up enemies? Biden even tried to lock up the leader of the opposing party.
The left has two dangerous groups: 1) Those who fear the tactics that they themselves use and accuse the other party of doing it. and 2) Those who are deceived by the rhetoric and believe that there is a real danger in allowing other opinions.
Less than two weeks before the presidential election, Kamala Harris called Donald Trump’s alleged longing for the type of general who deferred to Adolf Hitler “deeply troubling.” In brief remarks Wednesday, Harris opined on The Atlantic’s interviews with former Trump administration staffers, in which they said that he longed for “the kind of generals that Hitler had.” The article and its fallout are the latest episode in an electoral season that has focused intensely on which candidate poses the greater threat to democracy in general, and to Jews in particular. “It is deeply troubling and incredibly dangerous that Donald Trump would invoke Adolf Hitler, the man who is responsible for the deaths of 6 million Jews and hundreds of thousands of Americans,” Harris in remarks she delivered in front of the vice president’s residence. “All of this is further evidence for the American people of who Donald Trump really is.” Trump’s campaign categorically denied The Atlantic’s reporting and blamed Harris for encouraging Trump’s assassination. Steven Cheung, a campaign spokesman, said Harris “continues to peddle outright lies and falsehoods that are easily disproven. The fact is that Kamala’s dangerous rhetoric is directly to blame for the multiple assassination attempts against President Trump and she continues to stoke the flames of violence all in the name of politics.”
It wasn't the time in a concession speech to say that you are all f*cked. Events will show that in time. In the meantime in any sane country they think Americans have gone mad.
