Why isn't Brazil under investigation by the United Nations?
Why hasn't Brazil been expelled from the United Nations?
Why haven't activists groups in the US and Europe filled the streets with protests?

Brazil is far from alone.
Exactly.
Posters concerned about an offensive song, but are afraid to call out entire countries.
Why not lower the age of consent in the US to 14 years old? But, you say, that is perverted and pedophiliac! So why isn't it perverted in all the countries listed above? Why is the US allowing people from these countries to visit the US?

Gotta love the upvoting of 11 and 12 y/o age of consent. Clearly you dont have kids.
Here's another crazy one from 1980s rap. This song was played a lot at the night clubs. Hilarious video. 😆
Luther Campbell of 2 Live Crew will be forever enshrined in US jurisprudence for not one but two seminal cases that he won on appeal. The first involving whether dirty songs could qualify as obscene (a federal appeals court said they could not), and the second involving whether parody amounted to copyright infringement or fair use (the US Supreme Court ruled for Campbell and established parody as a fair use defense).

Oh, the hyprocisy!
Ill say it again, the fact that you are asking the question tells me you don't have kids/ a daughter! 14 is a child. Maybe less so in 1868, but 14 y/o is a child. I can't speak for backwards countries. Im guessing some of those on that list don't rule in favor of the 30y/o male dating a 13 y/o girl even though the law says otherwise. At least I hope they don't.
If you actually listen to the lyrics (asking a lot of most people, I know) that's not nearly the worst one on that album, never mind the rest of their discography.
Gaslighting Abbie is about, well, gaslighting. Janie Runaway is about a rich guy manipulating a runaway girl into having sex. Steely Dan song characters are not, generally, good people.

man this thread took a dark turn.
Agree 100%
Certainly, the US should impose economic sanctions on the countries on the list. I would even support military actions against those countries.
People think rap is filth now...lol. In the late 80's through most of the 90s, a bunch of rap/hip-hop was pretty much word/mental porn. Guys/gorups like Too Short, 2 Live Crew, Eazy-E, Slick Rick, AMG, DJ Quik... Guys like Snoop, Dre, and Ice Cube brought violence in general to the surface.
Rap nowdays, isn't even close to be honest...not by a long shot.
this is a fake discussion. at this point in tech all one has to do to sell records is get uploaded to streaming or itunes type platforms. a record can be "made" today easily.
you're confusing that with wanting a big label deal with cash advances, money towards videos and a tour, etc.
There has already been a lot of talk about "cancelling" the classic "Baby It's Cold Outside". The song is a duet in which the female singer is wanting to leave and the male singer continues to make advances even after the female singer explicitly rejects the advances.
Yeah, that song is completly degrading to woman. Should be banned.
Another one is "There is Nothin' like a Dame" from "South Pacific. Should be banned.
Also, "Sixteen going on Seventeen" from "The Sound of Music". Ban it. Encourges undeage heterosexual sex. However, if the charactes were gay, I'd say it's OK.

2 Live Crew was declared "legally obscene" in the early 90s and eventually won a lengthy court battle after Florida's governor/judicial system attempted to ban them. The case almost made it to the Supreme Court.
