Man, “the Republicans wanted to assassinate him” and “the Democrats wanted to assassinate him” are two sides of the same coin of idiocy.
This guy is, of course, apparently an ardent Trump supporter, and it looks as though he probably had no criminal intent.
And sometimes troubled people do bad things, regardless of party, etc. Effective security is a good thing, and hysterical babbling, fear-mongering, and spreading conspiracy theories and other lies are bad things.
The previous two would-be assassins were also Republicans. So what would be the motivation of a person carrying the amount of arms this guy was to a Trump rally, while also having fake ID, passports and fake drivers licenses and registration? Quite normal for a Trump supporter at one of the beloved leader's rallies? Security didn't seem to think so.
