A few years ago a lot of athletes posted their testing results. They asked everyone do it. It was because Yared would show 2 missed test. He missed another this year. You cannot find any of this, because it’s illegal for WADA to show you anything but 3 missed test or a failed test.
Yared is a lot like Lagat was. He’s a great guy, so he’s hard not to like.
Christ I hope English is your second (at least) language, but regardless, without knowing how frequently each athlete was tested, posting prior results wouldn't prove anything.
That said, Nuguse is one of the last pros I'd expect to cheat. Not only is his pro career a brief respite before dental school, his self esteem doesn't appear remotely tied to track success.
As much as none of this proves he's clean, I've seen no reason to be suspicious of his achievements.
Hocker and Nuguse just finished 1 and 3 in the 1500m and 30 minutes later Engels reposts a Michael Phelps tweet: "If you test positive, you should never be allowed to come back and compete again, cut and dry... I believe in one and done."
Shots fired??
The problem with this policy is that the testing is so sensitive that it can detect substances in the blood in less than 10 parts per million. Inevitably there are going to be false positives. I believe those do happen. There were a couple of athletes who tested positive for trenbolone. It is extremely unlikely that a track athlete would ever use. Trenbolone, if they intended to cheat. It is just a very poor choice for a performance athlete. Under the system outlined above, those athletes would have no chance to prove their innocence.
Look at Cole Hocker. Seriously, look at him. Does he look like a doper to you? I know that it's all more sophisticated these days, but doping still usually produces noticeable changes in your physical appearance (leaner, more muscular, etc.). Cole does not look like he's doping. Besides, doping doesn't get you 3 seconds in the span of a month. That's just gutsy racing and living up to your fitness
The top 5 runners in the 1500 all trained (at least some) in the US for five different coaches; it seems they would all be doping or none of them would be doping unless the US Olympic team decided to start sponsoring doping a month or so ago
No Craig has a point. The 2 Americans Nuguse and Hocker have something very very very fishy going on about them!!!!
Both suddenly running 3:27 after 2 rounds and 4.5 days?????? And nowhere near both the talent level of KERR and Jakob nor their kicking abilities? Fisher was the same fishy!!!! It runs throughout the 2024 American distance men's team!!!! I dunno about the women, no comments on that. I don't follow women's distance as closely.
"If I could redo that race (the 2020 US Olympic Trials 1500) 100 different times, I think I would be third 95 of those times. I should have never ever lost to Yared that day."
-Craig Engels
But he f***s the pangolin every single time, I promise you.
Neguse has two whereabouts violations... and that was last year. I wonder how many he has racked up by now.
Americans have the legal and scientific infrastructure set up to protect them. Highly litigious environment. The burrito woman's case wasn't announced for months. Gabby Thomas escaped sanction and won gold.
The whereabouts rumors have been going around for years, the OAC/Yared fans just need to accept that he has missed tests. That is exactly why a whole slew of pros (UAC, Brooks Beasts, etc) all posted theirs but not a single OAC member did. Doesn't mean they are doping but they sure haven't been tested every time they come knocking

Shut up evilrunner!!! Stop gaslighting us damn it!!!!
You want to play this psychotic game of 'having never tested positive' right????
Having never tested positive is even stronger evidence of sophisticated doping damn it!!!
I'm guessing you're 11 years old, but this made me laugh.
The old self-inoculating argument:
"If you've been caught doping, then that's evidence you're a doper.
But if you haven't been caught doping, then that's even stronger evidence that you're a doper."
Genius!
Some morons think in this fashion. At the time of the OJ Simpson trial there was more than one comment along the lines of "how can he be guilty? There's too much evidence against him".

Oh come on now. Doping is exactly what can do that. We're not talking about any old 3 seconds here, but the 3 seconds from 3:30 to 3:27. You don't just guts your way through that. In all likelihood, noone has ever run 3:27 without a full tank of super sauce.
3:34 to 3:31 was believable, if barely. Ex collegian broke a plateau. 3:30 to 3:27 is not believable, sorry.
If the whole thing is about Nuguse, 3:43 was not believable either
