Sometimes I feel like Shelby could be Jack in this video, and we would all applaud her if she, like Jack, would just be completely open about how you all want winners, and fast times, and that can be helped by doping, and she doped, and you cannot handle the truth that you want things and then when you get then you complain.

I find it odd that you have such contempt for Shelby. Yes she appears to have lied and then stuck with the lie. And yes she appears to have been someone who tried to get an edge with a banned substance. But she is still a person who probably did it because she felt unworthy and she probably was greedy too. She is likely not a worse human being than most of us. IF I were in her shoes, maybe I would have considered doing the same. And many of you would have too. But her sticking with the lie is because she feels she will be ostracized, not realizing that lying probably makes the ostracism worse. She deserves a 2nd chance at life, even if not at world class running, as that ship has likely sailed. But she can be national class for sure. She is flawed, and we are too.

I am surprised that she is seemingly still so "In" with her running. I guess she really loves it. She did come across as down to earth and I must say different than my previous opinion of her. But regardless I've always believed in her innocence. I wish her well. She seems emotionally in a good place considering everything that happened.
