I doubt even Josh Kerr thinks he can run 3:25
I think Josh Kerr has a 3:26 in him. Whatever Jakob runs for 1500m PB, Josh won't be all that far behind. Josh's biomechanics is more efficiency and fluid anyway right? Also a very spacious stride length won't hurt. Josh has rare ability to extend his legs real big in the finishing kick!!! So no problem for him....

He will be facing a very different Jakob this time around! Still feel like Kerr peaked too early this season, but I could be very wrong! Just kinda felt like Pre Classic was his main focus.
How is Jakob different? Jakob ran 7:54 last year.
Then 3:43/7:24. Jakob did not peak at the 7:54 but I do not think Kerr peaked at 3:45.
An athlete in his position should say that. He's probably not going to get another chance at Olympic gold, has just won worlds last year and has established himself as one of the best if not the best 1500m runner in the world this year.
