How much longer is this contract? Ritz has a great new crop of young runners coming in. Hopefully they won’t be conceited like some of the others.
You will be sad. ON will certainly keep her on board til 2028. She made 2 diamond league finals, makes final of USA 800, reliably runs 1:58-2:01, shows up on time, represents ON well.
ON is Swiss, her willingness to train and race in Europe is of good value to the company.
Ritz and Mottram look like lost sheep, it's a sad Olympics ahead for ON athletes. Figure head, is nowhere near as valuable as knowledge and experience.
Obiri, Beamish and maybe Nuguse, the only with any hope of performing well in Paris.
Klecker, Monson, Hurta, Andrews, McDonald, Mario, Thomas, Barrett, Skyring, Facioni, Buckingham, Trippas. All are cooked or broken, that's terrible coaching.
The coaches will blame the shoes, they also need to look in the mirror.

Yet people (probably one poster with multiple accts) on this thread and others continue to defend OAC. Ritz has damaged so many runners on his team. I can bet Obiri may also have injury issues. They also make false accusations that it’s one poster writing all these comments which is complete bull. Truth is hard to face. Ritz is obviously Training the athletes to death. Yet the athletes seem like the zombies, lost sheep trusting everything their Pied Piper tells them to do. Very sad.
Which makes absolutely zero sense and you know it. Stop making these stupid comments on threads constantly
Yeah, it seems to be the Mu fans that are really coming out against Sage. They've been trying to sell the narrative that the fall at the trials was a tragedy inflicted on Mu through no fault of her own. It made them mad when people pointed out the reality that the fall was Mu's fault and it affected other runners in the race. They're taking it out on Sage.

Right. Some kind of conspiracy theory bull to meet your warped agenda. Like Mu fans are even thinking about Hurta. 😂

So first it’s the Wiley bots and now it’s the Mu bots. Thought I also read it’s the ESP bots. Which is it? Or would common sense tell you it’s just people reacting on this thread like any other? Or is that too difficult to phantom in your little delusional minds

Sage clearly has a listen-to-coach personality and ran 5 years at altitude under Mark Wetmore, if she was going to be a star in the longer distances, we would know already. Ritz overcooked her this year and needs to adjust. (Which is the case for all of his athletes, not just her.)
I think everyone is memory holing that she got 2nd at Monaco and several other DL meets in 2022. She has time to get back into that form. The 800m runners with short careers are the men that rely on 45/46 400m speed and lose it.
Meanwhile, Natoya Goule is 33 and running 1:59 still
Goule 51.x 400 PB Hurta 54.x
Hodgkinson 51.x Moraa 50.x Mu 49.x
According to your logic, sure looks like Sage’s clock is ticking…
There's been a (shoe driven) reset in the 800 and 1500, bigger in the 1500 but still noticeable in the 800. Sub 1:58 is now the target for any international racing. But please don't write off Sage Hurta Klecker. She's actually younger than Akins and (Allie) Wilson. She can't go to the 1500 where the reset has been huge. I hope she sticks around for at least two more years.
