She’s so young it’s a tough double yah she’s done well against Americans but Kenyans and others? I think she goes full gas in the 10k and see what she can do.
Panguitch Utah's most notable former citizen is now more notable!
Please beware of the speed trap approximately 4 miles south of Panguitch on highway 89. Speeding tickets are the third largest business in Panguitch after the hospital and grocery store.
On the current world rankings Whitni is far behind Parker and several other Americans, and doesn't come close to the Olympic standard. I'm not saying she isn't the best choice (as 5th finisher in the 5K), just that the USATF needs to precisely explain the rationale for her selection and the weights given to the world ranking, making the standard, and placement in the trials. Runners and their coaches need to completely understand this so they can intelligently plan their Olympic preparation in the future. (Likewise they need to explain for the record the selection of Parker Valby in the 10K, not having the standard and on the bubble in the rankings.) This process should be a product of arithmetic, not subjective valuation by unknown persons at USATF.
Why did you single out Valby, when she’s ahead of Schweizer in the world ranking AND beat her in the trials? At the end of the day, they are both well within the ranking quota.
