I also call Cole Hocker fat. Do you know what a joke is? Or are you in such a hurry to post ten times in a row that you treat everything at face value? Get a grip, Armstronglite.
Hope you are proud of the high standard of your jokes…

Never said they were good jokes. Jokes don't have to be exceptional to be recognized as jokes, only takes a modicum of awareness on the part of the reader. And judging by the upvotes the board liked it. Would it make you feel better if I registered and used an account called "justanotherfunnydude"? Would that make my jokes and criticisms more valid?

I don’t think so -bad jokes are bad jokes. And I don’t think funny is a sufficient synonymous for curious… And if you are so all in on jokes: why be offended by my two posts underlining that one of the athletes was a 3.37 teenager, to two posts about him being a hobby jogger. Why not take my enormous offending of you (by stating the 3.37 twice) as a joke / sarcasm, and then cool down a little bit..?

Are you drunk? Me: Bad jokes are still jokes. You: I don't think so - bad jokes are bad jokes.
I know you're busy writing drivel in 15 other threads, but 'cmon.
Very hard to know when guys like you joke. (Anyways -bad joke to dis athletes / and posters all the time hidden behind an unregistered handle). Think it’s better to pay my respect to a 3.37 17 years old one time too many..
And you are hiding behind a registered handle. Big difference.
Well, it a difference -people can thus see that I am one person, and that one person is responsible for the posts. But OK to me that others are unregistered -as long as they don’t use this for mean trolling…And as a matter of fact I have another registered handle as well -could be fun to let them quarrel with each other. -But I have mentioned that I am the same person behind both (justanothercuriousdude / est un autre)…

Yeah, let’s accuse each other of writing drivel. Very interesting for us two + others to read posts like that… And I didn’t even criticise your posts - I just made a point out of one of the “hobby joggers” being a 3.37 teen. -I’m not after you, chill down, if you think it’s a relevant joke / sarcasm to call Hocker fat, or a 3.37 teenager a hobby jogger it’s fine by me -I know none of them personally… And what’s drivel to you isn’t necessarily that to me, and vice versa I guess…

You: “Bad jokes are still jokes” -fair enough; you emphasise that they still are jokes…
Me: “Bad jokes are bad jokes” -I emphasise that they (still) are bad jokes (underlining bad whereas you underlining jokes)… Cheers..!
I had no problem with your initial post -I think it was totally OK that you got upvotes, because you tried to make a point. And I wasn’t even troubled by you calling the athletes “hobby joggers” (they sure looked like that in this context). -To me it was nevertheless OK to point out that there was a stellar 17 years old in that race, so people wouldn’t think they really were 3.47 guys or something (if they hadn’t seen my first post)…
To me this was a fun race -wonder if any athlete before has won a 1500m with a hundred meters at this level..?!

Does anyone have a video link with the replays of the Norwegian 1500/5k races?
I can’t find any replays on YouTube…
But I can rewatch everything on Nrk.no (see link below). This is a free TV Chanel (at least for Norwegians, and without commercials) -I’m not totally sure that everybody can watch it from outside of Norway, but you can use a vpn if you are denied access…
How to navigate on Nrk: klick to the right day / date to the upper left. The 5000m is at June 29. Then klick on 12.00 Friidrett: Nm i friidrett. (A couple of times). Then fast forward ca 1 hour 44min +/- if you only want to see the race. There are Norwegian subtitles (don’t know if there is an efficient way to get them into English).
The 1500m is at June 28. Klick on the left: 19.40 Friidrett: Nm i friidrett. Then fast forward 3 hours +/- if you only want to watch the 1500m.
If you get lost on this Nrk site you can always klick Tv-guide (top right), after clicking Nrk TV if you are the whole way back to the main / opening page, and Vis hele dagen, if you don’t see / find the 19.40 or 12.00 Friidrett: Nm i friidrett…
