Remember when people said the new women’s Nike kit wasn’t high cut it was just the mannequin…?
the women’s kit is high cut
Adidas sat back and laughed at Nike knowing they were rolling out these stripper suits this spring.
If I didn't know better, I'd think adidas was trolling Nike with this suit. The thing Laura McCloskey Green wore in her Instagram story spoofing Nike looks so much like a prototype of the adidas kit that she should be asking adidas for royalties.
I was at the Oxy Invite a few months ago and Elly Henes was wearing one. people were doing double takes as she walked by thinking she was wearing a thong. the side part of the kit is literally the color of skin. no way that wasn't made that way on purpose.
Either way it is hands down one of the ugliest pro kits I have ever seen. The weird purple/brown color that looks like vomit, the salmon pink accents and then golden yellow? I mean whoever came up with this creative direction for color needs an uppercut.
It is SO bad. And sure, Nike has had it's well documented struggles on the product side lately but one thing they almost never screw up are their colors, and they haven't this season either. But basically every brand looks great out there except for adidas.
Oh please no one is telling women what they have to wear. If it was faster men would wear them. It's ugly and kinda suggestive and distracting. I question why any female would chose to wear it but to each his own.

Nobody is telling women what to wear? How about this thread which was started to complain about the suits? Again, whether they are faster is mostly irrelevant. They highlight what most guys want to see when they watch women compete in sports, and that's good enough. As a different poster said, this is a win for the athletes and fans! Beautiful girls showing off their beautiful bodies.
I can't be the only who noticed this and it has nothing to do with thong illusion. The former BYU gal in 1500m heat. Wasn't her bottom a tad too tight? Not complaining. I'm sure it was by design.
