"Phenotype" is the sex characteristics you can observe from outside. And Martinez Patino has a typical female phenotype.
What you tried to mean is karyotype (one's pattern of chromosome).
Martinez Patino's phenotype did not give her any advantage, as she was a 13.78 hurdler. That's rather mediocre for a "national champion" even by the 1980s standard. And her karyotype did not affect her performance level.
No, I did not mean karyotype. She had XY phenotypical traits, narrower hips and longer leg to torso ratio, that gave her an athletic advantage.

I'm not sure the bolded part really carries your intended argument and it may say something about your position on trans people more generally. If there are people that "can't be women," then you kind of take on an anti-trans position, don't you? The trans position is that anyone can be a woman. My take is that about half the population can't be a woman. We're evidently closer to agreement than you realize.

Tonight in Portland the continuing saga of McDaniel High’s dude running with the “girls” team (might not be only trans dude on the girls team) lowered his PR’s greatly and threatens to take individual state titles next week in both events and threaten state records set by Mia Brahe-Petersen and Josie Donelson, elite national female sprinters. The State Meet in Eugene will be the focus of the entire sports world next week due to horrifically poor leadership by the state governing organization, OSAA, which is allowing this injustice and travesty to undermine the integrity of girls sport. The IOC set rules prohibiting this for this very reason. If this stands then next year expect to see dozens of boys declaring themselves to be trans and run in the girls division, some in protest, some to exploit the moronic rule put in place by Oregon officials.

And coaches should stand up for their young female athletes and support them in protest.
It’s not the responsibility of young girls to push back against weirdos that want to undermine social norms (I’m not talking about the Trans athletes, rather the quisling progressives that just want to destroy).
Coaches and parents failed to correct this. It's their fault they let this happen.
We don’t see much of this in the UK. Or, rather, I haven’t seen instances in the XC and middle distance I coach.
I have vowed to myself that if I do, I will immediately complain, protest alongside any of my junior athletes that chose to do so and make it very clear that it is wrong and a betrayal of the fundamental spirit of sport.
I won’t do that aggressively or noisily. Just make the point calmly and clearly.
It’s easy for me as it’s just a hobby that I enjoy. That said, for the life of me, I do not understand how coaches can let this happen. My blood would absolutely BOIL if I saw some bloke beating one of our young female runners.
While one athlete can make the point (and I think this one is getting close to where it might), it's possible to make arguments that go either way when you're only focused on one athlete. If you step back though you see there are over 300 boys in Oregon faster than any girl at 200m and 400m. Big picture that is the competitive issue that isn't addressed by the current policy.
How can they possibly correct it? By holding their breath until they turn blue?

A coach can’t refuse to allow an eligible athlete to compete because they are opposed to transgender athletes, and parents can’t overrule rules set by the state. If your view of how things work is true, why even have rules?

it's concern trolling using "protecting women" as a lever for something they want politically. women can vote and hold their own protests if they don't like it. this is not 1910.
all the typologies being supposedly sorted sounds like 1800s men with calipers measuring heads, and is probably similar in (in)accuracy. my experience even more so than dudes, women's sport rewards a variety of types.

Gender incongruence has been moved out of the “Mental and behavioural disorders” chapter and into the new “Conditions related to sexual health” chapter. This reflects current knowledge that trans-related and gender diverse identities are not conditions of mental ill-health, and that classifying them as such can cause enormous stigma.
The correct statement would be "current opinion..." rather than "current knowledge...", which would then raise the question of 1) Whose opinion? and 2) Why do they think wanting to cut off perfectly healthy body parts is not a "condition of mental ill-health"? Trans people need our help and respect, but we shouldn't pretend that they don't have mental health issues. The real story here is that the World Health Organization has been captured by the ideology of the modern trans movement.
