Local coached just announced she is unfortunately still injured and dealing with a prolonged illness. we hope to see her later on by regionals. Dyestat has her right where she needs to be. If she does cycling and physical therapy then there is strong chance she should be atleast 75% by UIL regionals. Will probably be all-state at best.

If you are that curious and want to know more, her practices are open to the public. Most of the time she's biking and not running with the other girls.

Leachman doesn't bike. Her cross training is swimming, water jogging, elliptical, and sometimes Arc trainer but not biking. That's how you can tell the post was a completely made up lie.

My post will get a bunch of down votes but it's just the430miler using a VPN like he always does.

Liar! Her coaches haven't said anything about Leachman's health.

in '24 HS XC she DNFd regionals but won state more than a half minute slower than usual (17:14 instead of more like 16:3x) because her team advanced as a whole, did some of the postseason meets but ran half or a full minute slower than regular season for those as well (as slow as 17:31). no '25 TF times at all. no ordinary HS meets, no state progression, no trials. nothing.

Still no sign of Leachman. Does she still run?

Not sure of her situation. I guess she's still on the mend from her injury last winter. BC posted pictures of their 2025 team recently and she is not there. Really hoping she gets back on track because there is so much potential there. She broke the HS 5000m record with I think 15:25 while waving to her friends in the crowd like Valby. There could be some serious battles with Hedengren at NCAAs in the future.

Hedengren had some lingering issue, prior to her last Woodbridge loss. She said she visited a Doctor, which helped her getting back to feeling like her old self, again.
