It's amazing that they can recruit such good runners with that kind of ugly training grounds. What else do they have going for them? You'd think that with a $50-60 billion endowment they could fix the potholes and cracks in their campus roads.
Yesterday she ran a mile PR and #3 in the NCAA for the indoor season thus far. So I think it worked out.
Yes, she ran 4:30, however was beaten pretty easily. I watched the video where she closed the workout with the repeat 300s in under 45 off of short rest. I thought to myself, as easy as that looks, she’s in low 4:20 mile shape at minimum. Perhaps just an ice breaker race for her, but I can’t imagine her or her coach were particularly pleased with her race. No matter, it will get her to NCAA’s and I can assume that was the important goal of the day.

And she ran 4:24 a day or two after a DMR 4:29 this weekend.
