Beeecause high IQ people know the problems and risks their children will face in single parent families and - most often - choose to stay together as a result. Even when unhappy. Single parenthood is a massive risk. Dumb people take that risk far more often.
As IQ is largely inherited - ergo - that means the higher IQ parents and children are much more likely to stay together as a family unit. Unlike the dumbos.
