Stephens must be running very well for them to run her attached as a true freshman this early. Or perhaps others are injured? Whete is Loveys? I hope we see strong showings from Chmiel and Bush.
I'll take Lengole ftw. Curious to see where she and Olemomoi finish in relation to NCst top runners, Markezich, and Tuohy's 15:50 from last year.

I can confirm no Tuohey or Tyynismaa. Katelyn will be there though. Loveys may be redshirting due to eligibility of multiple Track seasons . Bush may still not run. Not quite 100%. Stephens training well enough to remove redshirt.

Awesome, thanks for the update Tuffy!
Wish we could find a STREAM of the race! (Only meet I’ve been able to see all season was the Dellinger, regardless of where I look).

Corrected the spelling of “Dellinger:

Last year NM and NC St streamed some of Joe Piane on Instagram. Chile Pepper (Arkansas) is on Runnerspace Friday. Flotrack (God bless them lol) has Live in Lou Friday tho not sure if any of good teams are there.

Live in Lou looks to be all D2 and D3 from what I saw.
Haha, maybe Tuohy will do some videography as she spectates for the NC State squads at Joe Piane!
I’ll be watching Chili Pepper for sure. Already have the reminder set.
Based on training pictures, it seems Hannah Gapes was working out with Tuohy and chmiel. Hartman is also in that group. She had a great true frosh track season with a 15:49 5k.
Excited to see what Gapes and Hartman do in their first xc season in uniform. Doesn’t surprise me Leah is running after that 5k at adidas. Didn’t she win by 20 seconds?

Yes, and 16:54 which is a solid time. Last year Savannah Shaw 16:52 (maybe injured), Gionna Quarzo 16:59, Brooke Rauber 17:12. She is off to a great start.

I’m quite curious how Alabama’s “Doris” does against Tuohy’s newly minted 15:50 on that course.

Looks like nc st national team will be the big 4 plus Hartman, Stephens and 1 other from the big group. Would be pleasantly shocked if it's Gapes.
The question is just how good is the 5 and if the pack could now deal with an injury among the big 4. We'll learn a lot at next 2 meets.
NAU looks good and deep. Osu good but thin. Stanford suddenly deep w Bunnage, Kennedy, Connelly and Parekh all running well. Florida at FSU this weekend, but no stars running.
I'm curious as to what is Tyynismaa's affliction that she is apparently not healthy enough to travel with the team. Tuohy it would appear is healthy, just not racing. There was somerumors about COVID 2 weeks ago. NAU looks strong to the point if NC St loses 1 of the top 4 then winning Nationals would be tough. Unless Hartman and Stephens could place higher than I think.

I agree NCst needs Tyynismaa, especially if Bush is not 100% either. Not sure why she would necessarily travel though, if not racing.
Yep, katelyn is here. I saw her with her team today
Dude, you are so creepy. Maybe focus on maximizing your race instead of feeding into this stalkerish letsrun environment surrounding this college female athlete.

Huh? A person noticed a famous collegiate runner at a collegiate race, and you have concerns about this?
Why is this nasty? She wasn't a top recruit and has not done anything yet in ncaa to show she will be top 7. If she is the number 7, it's great as she has then really improved.
If someone runs on an ncaa championship team, they have to understand they will be discussed similar to a football player or women's basketball player

Dittto on Lengole and I expect fireworks from Chmiel, Markezich and Olemomoi mixing it up. Is Markezich fit enough to hang with the leaders and produce the same blistering close we've seen from her over 3k? Or will 10k strength carry the day?

As I mentioned above, I’m very curious how Tuohy’s newly minted 15:50 on this course will stand up with Doris Lengole in the mix for those top-guns you mentioned. (And I’m a Tuohy fan, but always excited to see fast races).
