Now that I think about it, it's probably four pacers and Kipchoge. A couple of other pacers with the trailing pack to keep them in order.

I've been thinking lately about Leonard Cohen's "Everybody Knows." These lyrics come to mind:

The organizers could have brought in a better field with nothing but comp entries and travel expenses. But, of course . . . .

The other guy is from Kipchoge's team so he might be a side pacer or is just going out like Belihu last year

Derseh Kindie I think was a late entry so maybe he was in great form and changed plans to race here

BTW, Fauble is 14:56 at 5k -- 2:06:01 pace but he's not on the leaderboard because he's not even in the top 30!

Also American Teshome Mekonen is out VERY fast (14:46, 2:04:37 pace)
