And for rekrunner to explain that he is innocent because dopers are the good people and the rifle was in the burrito.
???
Posts like this really have me questioning the objective thought processes of some posters.
I would only explain that Jake and Zane got faster with long term training at high altitude, and that more sea level non-Africans would be faster following the same training over many years.
Zane confessed to his doping purchase, possession and use, so I have no doubts related to these charges and convictions.
I would express sympathy for the sexual assualt victim, but the last time I expressed sympathy for a sexual assault victim, I was curiously called a mysogynist and a creep for choosing the same language as the victim, and including other non-sexual assualt incidents such as public weigh-ins in underwear and topless cryo-baths. But I will never learn: Zane's sexual assault victim(s?) has(have) all my sympathy.
I will similarly not defend the possession of an unlicensed military assault weapon by any citizen of any country, except perhaps Ukraine.
I would not argue that dopers are good people, but sometimes good people are wrongly accused of doping.
And last but not least, I could explain again that USDA approved nandrolone in the US food supply from intact pork is a conceded fact, and nandrolone by pork ingestion has been studied by scientists for decades. But the instances of an athlete testing positive for "low" amounts (and exceptionally much higher) of nandrolone from pork, across the USA nation, during normal times with no supply issues, would be rare, but yet certain, given enough opportunities over time.
Let me know if you have any further questions about what I would explain.
So much winning.
Somehow rekrunner has taken us from AK-47's in Kenya to Shelby Houlihan and "contaminated pork" in a single stride. Clearly, they must be connected. Zane has tested positive for an AK-47.
I bet in Kenya the gun is for protection. the country is sketchy at best.
Who cares he didn’t shoot anyone. He took some epo in a sport where people take epo. Jesus people relax.
What about the sexual assault? How come no one mentions that? I guess I am American cause I'm kind of unfazed about the AK47 but wonder what he did to that woman.
a proper American would immediately dismiss the sexual assault allegations as lies from a woman seeking revenge, attention or money.

You give me too much credit. *I* did not take you there, or make that connection. It was "reckie for the win" who suggested "the rifle was in the burrito".

You made that connection to your fave drug cheat + pork + nandrolone, nobody else. "reckie for the win" only mentioned a burrito, nothing else.
But I am curious - have you finally understood that the dope was not in the burrito, or are you still pretending otherwise?
Military style semi-automatics and assault rifles will be banned in New Zealand under stronger new gun laws announced today, Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern says.

That you didn't get his jibe shows not only how humourless you are but in taking it seriously how ridiculous you are.

What else can mentioning a burrito mean? But if you want to play that game, it was Armstronglivs who said "Houlihan", not me. And it was scientific researchers who explained how a pork organ burrito can contain enough nandrolone to trigger anti-doping positives with a depleted carbon isotope ratio different than the athletes' reference ratios.
I don't have a "fave drug cheat".
Why are you curious? Is there any new information? What I understood in the case of Houlihan is that no one actually determined the source of the nandrolone. That includes any alleged determination that it was not in the pork meat, organs, and fat of a pork organ burrito. I understood that that has not changed since the CAS wrote that in its detailed report and still ruled that it was possible, based on the incomplete information before them.

How does that justify attributing it to me? What does that make you?
EPO is quite effective alright. Some of the top athletes that got caught using it, had a time in their career where a spike in performance happened, which can correlate back to their start in using EPO.
We have one of two scenarios here:
Jake, the twin brother has almost identical personal bests from 5000m to the marathon as Zane, 13-mid to 2:08. This means that either they both doped for a long time or Zane began doping late and never got around to seeing its benefits.
Also, the potential broad repercussions to come remind me when in 2013 AK president Isiah Kiplagat warned that all foreign unlicensed coaches to leave Kenya within one week's time. Note, famed Italian coach Renato Canova who maintains that EPO doens't work on elite East Africans swiftly moved out of Kenya to China at that time. Probably a coincidence.
Now, foreign athletes training there will be viewed with suspicion.
I hope my contribution is not deleted due to graphic content. I know at least 40 Kenyan athletes personally and professionally, many of which are training in Iten. I am being told the following:
He owned the weapons because he’s not well-liked among locals and he has in the past slapped kids that called him ‘mzungu’, which is the Kalenjin word for ‘white person/foreigner’. Some locals has confronted him about this.
He met the girl at a party. Either after the party or subsequent to, they went back to his house. He attempted to force anal sex on her and she ran out of the house naked. Locals came to assist her and contacted the police. The weapons were found when the police went in his house.
He was detained and slept in a holding cell all night. I was told more graphic details but cannot post them here.
The case of Zane Robertson is substantial evidence to show the running community worldwide that high-performance running can lead to psycho-social and psycho-sexual side effects. One can and do become delusional, psychotic, neurotic, obsessive compulsive due to irreversible harmful and imbalanced brain changes in the central and autonomic nervous system. Moral of the story: lead a simple and humble life, and whatever comes, comes, don't push it too hard as you will lose your soul. Best advice of the day.
Do note that Samuel Wanjiru suffered an almost similar fate as Zane. The 2 seem to share the same trajectory of depravity.
