If 3:35 is underwhelming then it means you're really fast. He's easily one of our top 5 guys. Only Hocker and Nuguse have put up more consistent good marks than Kessler. He's only 20 years old, it wouldn't be shocking at all if he made the olympic team next year and became a consistent 3:32 type guy. There's probably a 40% chance he makes the team next year. If he's not one of the top 3, there aren't many other guys who have a similar shot as him who would be the next guy in.

If targeting a race why not Brussels 2,000? 16 entrants (3 pacers) isn’t high for DL and a couple mediocre Belgians are in. But maybe can’t get in? The dude should run the Bowerman Mile at the Pre Classic to finish his 2023 campaign. Target sub-3:50 and hopefully faster. Why not?
