Camille was not physically there watching her. She analyzed data, nothing more. Marathon Investigator did the same and had a different finding. Today, Ashley is ahead of her pace last year and running with others until very recently. Pretty hard to dispute that data so far.

If the Johnsons are both from the same tiny region with a history of performance enhancing drug issues and brought up in the same program then yes their world record performances will be questioned. The only reason Abeba was caught was because she was racing as a Swede and was caught during the Swedish sports body anti doping raids. Go ask Tulu about drugs in Ethopia and come back.

Not hard to dispute it if you are Will Cockerell. Just need to make up some conspiracy theory like he did for William Goodge that she is intentionally running when she knows she is being watched.

She's pushed it out to an 8 minute lead through 122 miles. 19 minutes ahead of 3rd place. And her lead is growing.

I wouldn't call what either Camille or Derek did as "analyzing data". It was pure crap what they tried to pull intentionally leaving out many previous course times and using that to falsely accuse Ashley Paulson and for which neither have ever publicly apologized.

I didn’t accuse Ashley of anything. I clearly came out stating that I believed her result was legitimate. I was disappointed that other big names didn’t publicly acknowledge her result.

I hope they do better after this performance and show some humility and acknowledge an amazing record.

I was rooting for Ashley to do well, but don’t feel this performance is necessary to prove last year’s result was legitimate.
