Peachtree 10K lead woman at finish followed motorcycle off course, finished fourth

Here is the finish from a different angle. If you watch in slow motion, you can see the official pointing with both arms straight down the road to the finish, but she follows the motorcycle into a tiny gap instead. The official then appears to be yelling at her and gesturing for her to come back. You could argue that the official should have been 6 feet closer to the gap and he probably will be next year. Still, it's 99% her fault.

She literally WON the race the year before and had a meeting explaining everything the night before. Not to mention the race has ONE TURN!!! It was on her. The cop was doing his job right.
