I'd agree with Burger King falling the hardest and breaking their crown.
Yet Burger King is advertising like crazy these days. That makes me think they are "fighting for it" a little bit and not just giving up. They'll always be Pepsi to McDonald's Coke.
What happened to Skippers? Is Sizzlers still a thing? Fast food fish restaurants and low-priced steak restaurants should be out of business...
I've noticed that the quality of food at almost all the fast foot places I've tried has gone down compared to their pre-covid quality.
For example, my wife and I got a couple of meals at Taco Bell recently. It was a flour tortilla with sour cream, cheese, and maybe a teaspoon of meat! I thought all the meat had gotten pushed into one side of the wrap, but I tore it apart and the meat wasn't there. I haven't been back.
Fisky, you spend thousands of dollars on supplements and medical tests, yet you eat at Taco Bell?! Sweet Jesus man, you should know better. You're still inspiring, but I'm disappointed.

Was gonna say the same but you beat me to it. Fisky is the last guy I thought would be eating at Taco Bell, that food is just straight up garbage.
I fear Jersey Mike's is turning into another Subway. Expanding way too fast. selling franchises without proper training.
last couple times I was in one felt like a Subway. messy, unorganized, slow, and food overall didn't taste as good.
Was Jersey Mike’s ever good? I’ve had it twice and it was terrible both times. I’m a crappy cook but I could definitely make a better sandwich than I had there. Back when I lived in Michigan we had a sub shop called Jersey Giant which was awesome. They put Subway and Jersey Mike’s to shame.

Burger King went back to their old branding/logo and the whole branding package looks amazing.
We had a few WhichWich's near us and they were always crazy busy during lunch breaks, especially the downtown location. Mark that as another that is better than Subway.
I have not seen a Bill Knapp's, Bonanza, Ponderosa, Long John Silvers or a Ruby Tuesday's in person in ages - but they are all still around.
Applebee's is dreadful. All the food comes out of the freezer and 50 percent of it is microwaved.
I've been saying this for years. If you want Applebee's food just go to the walmart that is more than likely across the street, walk to the frozen section, get the frozen Applebee's branded food, and throw it in chef mic. That what they do at the restaurant anyway.
20 years ago they seemed really innovative and a nice alternative to McDonald's/BK/Subway, I go maybe once a year now and am always disappointed. The Bagels seem stale and the sandwiches aren't as good. The one that opened near me was always immaculate but now they all seem dirty. No idea if this is due to their corporate management or just bad luck with the ones I go to.
Also very popular. Chikfila used to be king but they have been slipping for a while too i feel. Can i please not get gray chicken?
You think CFA is slipping? Judging by the line of cars I see at my local one at seemingly all the hours they are open, I'd have to disagree.
Yeah, what? All the locations in my area have a steady stream of cars throughout the day. This is on the east coast. Then we were in Vegas a few weeks ago and went to one and it was the exact same thing. They must be killing it compared to other chains on a per store basis.
