A simple question: Whose run in London do you think was less believable, Hassan coming from so far behind against "the greatest women's field ever assembled" and dusting them with ease at the end, or Kiptum running 13:49/27:50/59:47 in the 2nd half to run faster than Kenenisa ever did?
Hassan ran a much more unbelievable race because Kiptum simply did the same thing he did in his debut marathon race in Valencia last year, only a little better. But this was the first marathon Hassan ran, she had a leg issue before the race and forgot to tape it. She had a disastrous first half and doubted herself if she would finish and make a whole bunch of mistakes and had a coach who said she wasn't ready yet to compete with these women and she still won.
I am kind of impressed! Of course Kiptum is amazing but he showed us that last year.
