The saddest thing about American society is that the majority lead very staid and boring lives. Rather than bust out of that self-imposed rut, they want to make anyone different conform to the same existential hell that they reside in. Rather than "live and let live", they get very worked up over anyone quirky, thrill seeking, neurodivergent, odd, etc. and then make it a point to criticize them or even legislate their differences out of existence.
Many folks will never be happy until the nation is only populated by WASPs with an affinity for khakis, golf shirts, soft rock hits, and mayonnaise.

not a fan of the prediction here but to the people arguing that she’s happy, I don’t agree. She appears listless and lost, desperate to get attention in an instant gratification kind of way. she’s been open about her need for attention which is why I don’t fault her for making this marathon, which should be about the runner she is guiding, about her.
